Dez Bryant is a Cowboy through and through and couldn’t help but show his fandom in a recent interview. When Bryant was asked who the top five cornerbacks in the NFL are, his answer didn’t disappoint.

While being interviewed by Rotoworld NBC, the former Dallas wide receiver named Trevon DiggsStephon Gilmore, Patrick Surtain, Sauce Gardner and then Jalen Ramsey as his top five players at the position. Diggs and Gilmore of course play for the Cowboys and Bryant went as far as to call them 1A and 1B, respectively, when ranking them in the NFL.

“I don’t really mean to be biased ,” Bryant said. “I watch the game and, you know, style is how I choose my picks.”

Diggs is coming off his second Pro Bowl selection in a row while Gilmore joins Dallas looking to return to his former All-Pro self. The 2019 NFL Defensive Player of the Year was last selected to the Pro Bowl in 2021 but is coming off a season where he tallied 66 tackles and two interceptions with the Colts

Gardner and Surtain were both named first-team All-Pro last year and Ramsey received his sixth Pro Bowl nod. The new Dolphins defensive back recently underwent knee surgery and will miss a portion of the regular season, but Bryant believes he’ll bounce back.

“He’s going to get healthy,” Bryant said.
