Cowboys DE DeMarcus Lawrence Sends Warning to NFL: ‘Nowhere to Run, Nowhere to Hide’
The Cowboys' defense is talking like a group ready for its encore performance after a superb 2022 NFL season. The group is loaded with playmakers on the defensive line, at linebacker and in the secondary, and many players aren’t shying away from making it known.
Defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence is among those players, and during a recent interview with SiriusXM NFL Radio on their training camp tour, he sounded off on a number of topics. When asked about the additions such as Stephon Gilmore and numerous other playmakers in the secondary, Lawrence had a warning for opposing NFL offenses.
“I love our group, man,” he said. “We’re blessed all across the board and definitely going to see the production from the moves that we made over the offseason. And adding another corner to our group, I feel like that’s a huge plus for us.
“Just throw the ball up and see.” Lawrence warned.
Lawrence was then asked why he had a “big grin” during those comments, to which the Pro Bowler responded by sending his final message.
“It's nowhere to run, it's nowhere to hide. Either way you go, you’re going to meet the results.” Lawrence stated.
Whether the Cowboys and Lawrence can back it up will be a major talking point, as the team is loaded with weapons on both sides of the ball.
