Ever since Aaron Rodgers went down with a season-ending injury, many people have been wondering about the season-long plan for the Jets when it comes to replacing him. While the team is currently sticking with Zach Wilson, some believe New York should try to add a veteran, even one currently in retirement like Tom Brady.

However, New York reportedly shot down the possibility of adding Brady, and now the former quarterback did the same. On his Let’s Go! podcast with Jim Gray, Brady brushed off the idea that he may play for his former division rival.

“The question everyone is wondering is have the Jets called and are you considering the Jets?” Jim Gray asked Brady.

“No, no no,” Brady said. “Next Question.”

“Asked and answered?” Gray then responded.

“You already know,” Brady said, ending the conversation.

Brady notoriously spent 20 years playing for the Jets rival, the Patriots, and the former quarterback has not expressed any interest in returning to any team, let alone his biggest rival. Instead, Brady seems set on entering the next phase of his career, which includes partial ownership of the Raiders and eventually joining Fox as a game announcer.
