Usher Announced As Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show Performer

The R&B artist is coming off a Las Vegas residency, so it’s only fitting that he was chosen to perform at Allegiant Stadium.

Usher is officially doing the Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show as Apple Music announced the decision on Sunday morning.

The R&B artist is coming off a Las Vegas residency, so it’s only fitting that he will perform in Las Vegas for the biggest football game of the season.

The 44-year-old is best known for songs such as “Yeah!” “OMG,” and “DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love,” to name a few. These three songs feature other popular artists, so it’s definitely possible Usher could bring a few special guests on stage with him at Allegiant Stadium in February.

Apple Music posted a video with Kim Kardashian calling Usher to tell him the news.

“It's an honor of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list,” Usher said, via ESPN’s Adam Schefter. “I can't wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they've seen from me before. Thank you to the fans and everyone who made this opportunity happen. I'll see you real soon.”

Super Bowl LVIII takes place on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2024.
