Taylor Swift’s presence at Arrowhead Stadium captivated both the sports and pop culture worlds on Sunday, and it seems the players on the field stepped up their game with the superstar musician in attendance.

Following the blowout win over the BearsChiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes admitted he tried a bit harder to get Travis Kelce a touchdown with Swift sharing a suite alongside the tight end’s mother, Donna.

When asked if the “Swifties” created any added pressure, Mahomes had a great response.

“Yeah, I heard she was in the house. I felt a little bit of pressure. So I knew I had to get it to Trav,” said Mahomes. “I think he wanted to get in the end zone just as much as all the ‘Swifties’ wanted him to.”

With reports of a relationship between Kelce and Swift, Kansas City showed out in her first visit as a spectator at Arrowhead. The 41-10 win was their biggest of the season as the Chiefs improved to 2-1.

Kelce put on a show of his own on the field, recording seven catches for 69 yards and a touchdown, one which fans of the pop icon will certainly have enjoyed. He led the game in receptions and receiving yards while the Chiefs racked up more than 450 yards of total offense.

While Mahomes joked that he felt some added pressure under the aura of Swift, the team never looked uneasy as they took care of business with a dominant 31-point victory over Chicago.
