Things will look very different for Ezekiel Elliott when he takes the field for the Patriots-Cowboys game on Sunday afternoon at AT&T Stadium.

Elliott, who signed a one-year deal with New England in August, was released by the Cowboys in March after seven seasons. While the veteran running back told reporters he considers Sunday’s clash “just another week”, Cowboys star Micah Parsons believes Elliott will bring his best game for the All-Pro edge rusher.

“I feel like Zeke’s coming for me,” Parsons said, per Jon Machota of The Athletic. “He used to tell me, ‘You’re lucky I’m not out there. I’d really get you.’ If there’s ever a matchup, I’m gonna be looking forward to it, for sure. … You know Zeke, everything is gonna be funny to him. We miss his presence, the joy he brings to the locker room. It’s gonna be fun going against him.”

Elliott has rushed for 122 yards on 28 carries in three games this season. In his seven-year tenure in Dallas, Elliott rushed for 8,262 yards on 1,881 carries for 68 touchdowns in 103 games. 4,334 of those yards and 42 of those touchdowns came in Dallas home games at AT&T Stadium, where Elliott will return for the first time this weekend.

The Cowboys (2–1) are coming off a 28–16 loss to the Cardinals and will seek to earn their third win of the season on Sunday against the Patriots. Kickoff is schedule for 4:25 p.m. ET.
