Ja'Marr Chase Drops Perfect 'Always Open' Tweet After 3 TD Game vs. Cardinals
Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase finally got into the end zone on Sunday for his first touchdown of the season. And then he did it again. And again.
After scoring three touchdowns in a bounce-back performance against the Cardinals, Chase took to social media to celebrate the win while simultaneously cracking a joke over some of his recent viral postgame comments.
In a reference to his “I’m always f---ing open” comments he made after Cincinnati’s loss to the Titans in Week 4, Chase posted a photo of a 7-11 convenience store on X (formerly Twitter), joking that he, much like 7-11, is always open.
Chase was definitely always open on Sunday in Arizona. The 23-year-old caught 15 receptions on 19 targets, racking up 192 receiving yards and three touchdowns. The Bengals won 34–20, breaking the 30-point threshold for the first time this season.
It seems that Chase’s comments made in frustration after a disappointing Week 4 loss resonated with the team. Joe Burrow looked his way at virtually every opportunity, and Chase made the most of his targets, setting the Bengals’ franchise record for receptions in a single game.
