Minneapolis Radio Station Trolls Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce With Billboard Before Chiefs-Vikings

Minnesota knew what audience to tailor to, no pun intended.

The Taylor SwiftTravis Kelce storyline in the NFL isn’t slowing down any day soon it appears, as a Minneapolis radio station trolled the rumored relationship ahead of Sunday’s ChiefsVikings game.

For football fans, this matchup marks the first one between quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes and Kirk Cousins. But, now that Swift has brought many of her fans to the sport, the radio station knew which audience to tailor to.

The entertainment station 107.1 My Talk put a billboard up in Minneapolis that just said “Beat Taylor’s Boyfriend.” It was a simple message, as there were no images other than a cartoon looking football.

The NFL has been all over the Kelce–Swift dating rumors. The Chiefs tight end admitted last week that the league is “overdoing it a little bit” with all the coverage of him and the pop star.

However, this wasn’t the only Kelce-centered billboard in the Twin Cities. The other one was sponsored by Pfizer, showing a jersey with Kelce’s No. 87 saying “Mr. Pfizer,” the nickname Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers gave him recently because Kelce appears on commercials for the brand.

Vikings fans seem ready for Sunday’s afternoon matchup.
