Tom Brady Takes Savage Dig at Peyton Manning’s Complaint About Flying Commercial
It’s no secret that Tom Brady and Peyton Manning have become good friends in retirement, and the two share plenty of banter, both in the limelight and away from it.
To wit, Manning questioned how Brady travels to get to his yacht in the Bahamas on Thursday’s episode of The Pat McAfee Show.
“Does he fly Delta to get to the yacht?” Manning asked. “Is there a direct Delta flight into the Bahamas to get on the yacht? I was on a Delta flight the other night. I flew back from Hawaii, and my plane got canceled. I was in 36F. Has Tom sat in 36F on a Delta flight? …
“They put me in an exit row, which is great with the leg room. But I swear the door was open. It was as cold as I’ve ever been. I’ve been in cold weather games. I’ve been in Green Bay. I’ve played in New England,” Manning continued.
McAfee posted the clip on X, formerly known as Twitter, and Brady couldn’t resist replying to Manning’s friendly quip.
“I’m sure the temperature was perfect. Peyton could never handle life outside the dome…” Brady wrote.
The two former rivals have the utmost respect for one another and how each played the game, and the jokes always seem to be flowing in retirement.
