Travis Kelce, Chiefs Practiced a Fun New Full-Team Touchdown Celebration Friday
The Chiefs offense isn’t putting touchdowns on the board at the same rate as it has in previous years, but it is still an effective unit. With 15 offensive touchdowns on the year, Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce & Co. rank sixth in the league, tied with the Eagles, Chargers and Commanders.
Big touchdowns call for big celebrations, and the Chiefs are no strangers to having fun on the gridiron while racking up scores and wins. Ahead of Sunday’s Week 7 tilt with the Chargers, Kelce and running back Isiah Pacheco had the chance to star as would-be scorers in a new full-offense touchdown celebration.
While a group of other Chiefs jumped up and down with the arms raised forming a tunnel, Kelce preened as he jogged through his teammates. Pacheco followed suit, high stepping his way through the celebration.
Aaron Ladd of KSHB 41 News shared video from Kansas City practice on Friday:
Kelce and Pacheco are the Kansas City players most familiar with the end zone this season. Kelce leads the team with 36 receptions, 346 yards and three scores through the air, while Pacheco has 387 yards and three touchdowns on the ground.
The Chiefs (5–1) and Chargers (2–3) kick off at 4:25 p.m. ET at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday.
