Falcons’ Arthur Smith Explains Bijan Robinson Receiving Zero First-Half Touches vs. Bucs
Falcons RB Bijan Robinson had zero first-half carries and the confusing decision was explained by the Falcons coach.
In this story:
Falcons fans and fantasy football players alike were in the midst of a first-half meltdown as rookie running back Bijan Robinson didn’t receive a single carry through two quarters against the Buccaneers. It was a confusing half as Robinson was also only on the field for six total snaps as well.
But at halftime, Falcons coach Arthur Smith addressed the topic on the broadcast, telling NFL on FOX sideline reporter Kristina Pink that Robinson is "just not feeling all that great."
It doesn't appear likely that Robinson will see much action in the second half, barring something drastically changing.
On the season, Robinson has 401 rushing yards on 80 attempts and 26 receptions for 189 yards and two receiving touchdowns.
