Raiders Fans Were Calling for Josh McDaniels’ Firing After Ugly Loss to Bears
Josh McDaniels has officially struck the final nerve of Raiders fans.
In this story:
The Raiders' 30-12 loss on Sunday to a Bears team with undrafted rookie quarterback Tyson Bagent under center ranks as arguably the worst result of the Josh McDaniels era. Not surprisingly, fans went from being frustrated with the head coach to calling for his job following the loss, which moved Las Vegas to 3-4 on the season.
McDaniels opted to start Brian Hoyer at quarterback in place of the injured Jimmy Garoppolo, doing so over rookie Aidan O'Connell, which already had fans frustrated. But the team was outgained 323 to 235 in total yards and the Raiders were unable to find the end zone until there was 1:10 left in the fourth quarter.
The fire McDaniels social media posts began pouring in even before the game ended.
