CeeDee Lamb Made NFL History During Cowboys' Beatdown of Giants
Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb has been unstoppable over the past few weeks, a trend which continued into Dallas’ 49–17 win against the Giants in Week 10.
Lamb checked out of Sunday’s game early into the fourth quarter, but not before he made a couple of quick catches which put him over 150 yards on the night. The 24-year-old had 11 receptions in the win, racking up 151 yards and two touchdowns, including one rushing score.
It marked the third consecutive game in which Lamb had at least 10 receptions and 150 receiving yards. No other player in the NFL’s Super Bowl era has put up those numbers in three straight games, according to Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News.
In Week 8 against the Rams, Lamb had 12 catches for 158 yards. Last week in a loss to the Eagles, the star wideout had 11 receptions and tallied 191 yards.
Over his last three games, including Sunday, Lamb has 34 receptions, 500 receiving yards, and four total touchdowns, numbers which match the season totals of many players at his position.
Back in October, Lamb voiced his frustrations over his lack of involvement in the Cowboys’ offense after a three-game stretch in which he was limited to 12 receptions and 138 yards. Clearly, his concerns have been quelled during his record-setting receiving spree over his past few outings.
