Cowboys’ CeeDee Lamb Boldly Claims He’s NFL’s Best Receiver After Huge Game vs. Giants
CeeDee Lamb has no problem discussing the topic of the NFL’s best wide receivers. This is primarily due to the fact that he doesn’t view it as a debate—the Cowboys star wideout believes he’s the best in the business, hands down.
Lamb’s eye-opening boast comes after he plundered the Giants for 11 receptions, 151 receiving yards and a touchdown in an emphatic 49–17 Dallas win Sunday at AT&T Stadium.
“I’m one of them ones,” Lamb said, per ESPN's Todd Archer. “I’m the top receiver in this game, and there’s no question about it. If there is, see y’all again next week.”
Against the Giants, Lamb posted his third consecutive game with at least 10 catches and 150 receiving yards. It was also his fourth game in a row with over 100 receiving yards. Over that span, he’s totaled 41 catches for 617 yards and three touchdowns. For the season to date, Lamb has recorded 68 catches for 975 yards and four touchdown receptions.
Lamb’s dominance has been on full display as of late, and he’s helped lead Dallas to three wins in its past four games. The correlation between Lamb’s heavy involvement in the offensive game plan and the team’s success is apparent, and the No. 1 wideout in Dallas likely will be busy down the home stretch of the regular season.
The Cowboys (6–3) play the Panthers (1–8) in Charlotte on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
