The Bills are currently attempting to navigate a bit of uncharted territory. The team has now lost three of its last four games and four of the previous six. In turn, they’re 5–5 on the year, one loss shy of matching the most losses suffered by the franchise in a single season over the four seasons prior to this one.

And for quarterback Josh Allen, his five-word response to Buffalo’s struggles after the 24–22 loss to the Broncos essentially summed it up.

“It sucks. … A lot of bad football. A lot of bad football,” Allen said after the game, per ProFootballTalk.

Allen believes the Bills shouldn’t have let the game come down to a last-second field goal, and that the mistakes being made are unacceptable.

In order for the Bills to flip the script and get back to its winning ways, they’ll need to find answers and fix the mistakes quickly, as the team finds itself sitting outside of the playoff picture currently. Allen spoke about the need for urgency after the loss on Monday night.

“I’m still confident, but it’s no secret the clock’s ticking. We’ve got to have some urgency now,” Allen said.

The good news is that Buffalo is only half a game behind the Texans in the wild-card race, and currently sits in second place in the AFC East, a game and a half behind the Dolphins.
