Tom Brady Jokingly Bets Super Bowl Ring on Ohio State-Michigan With C.J. Stroud
Arguably the best rivalry in college football, Michigan–Ohio State, brings out all of the alums from both sides. And two of the biggest names from both colleges have already started talking about possibly making a historic wager.
Tom Brady attended Michigan for five years before starting his legendary NFL career while C.J. Stroud is just starting his with the Texans after leaving Ohio State this past offseason. The two quarterbacks got to talking on Tom Brady’s Let’s Go! podcast and the former Wolverines signal-caller appears so confident in his former team that he’d wager one of his most prized possessions.
“Alright so, we got a bet,” Brady said. “So, if Ohio State wins . . . you get one of my Super Bowl rings. And if Michigan beats Ohio State, then you got to give me all your youth, your agility, your time in the 40 and all your future years in the NFL. How about that?”
Stroud didn’t hesitate.
“That’s a bet,” the Texans quarterback said.
Although he clearly sounded like he was making the wager in jest, Brady continued and said, “I’ve never bet my Super Bowl ring, so this could be . . . I should be a little nervous.”
Kick off a between the two storied franchises is set for Nov. 25 at 12 p.m. ET on Fox.
