Chiefs’ Travis Kelce Takes Jab at Jets QB Aaron Rodgers Over ‘Pat McAfee Show’ Comments

The back-and-forth public trolling between Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been an ongoing topic of discussion. Given that their interactions have stemmed largely from Rodgers’s appearances on The Pat McAfee Show, the Chiefs tight end opted to toss his latest lighthearted jab at Rodgers in that direction.

Kelce discussed the barbs he and Rodgers have been throwing each other’s way, joking that “Tuesdays are his game days” currently.

“Aaron’s always been cool to me,” Kelce told J.R. Moehringer of the Wall Street Journal. “I knew he was trying to have some fun. He’s in a situation where Tuesdays are his game days…. So I get it, man, I’ve been injured too…. Who knows what the guy is going through?”

Kelce took a bit of a high road with the comments, even while tossing in the playful jab in the process. The banter between he and Rodgers doesn’t appear to have a clear end in sight, although the Jets quarterback asking him for a vaccine debate seemingly cooled things off a bit.

At least for now.
