Packers’ Jordan Love Enjoyed Breakout Game vs. Lions, and NFL Fans Were Awestruck
Jordan Love showed out for the national Thanksgiving game between the Packers and NFC North rivals the Lions on Thursday.
Green Bay won 29–22, keeping a strong lead throughout the entire game. Love and the Packers offense dominated in the first quarter as the team scored 20 points in the first 15 minutes.
Love ended up finishing with a 125.5 quarterback rating after completing 22-of-32 passes for 268 yards and three touchdowns. He also rushed for 39 yards on three carries. His longest rush was for 37 yards, which was the longest of his career.
After the game, Love told the Fox Sports crew that the game was “definitely my favorite Thanksgiving memory.”
The win wasn’t just special for Love, it was significant for Packers fans as they’ve been handling their first season since the departure of Aaron Rodgers. This was the Packers’ fifth win of the season, and now Love is on a hot streak.
