Lackluster Bears-Vikings Showdown Spoils ‘Monday Night Football’

The sloppy Monday night clash between the Bears and Vikings didn’t sit well with NFL fans.

The Bears and Vikings took the stage for a battle in prime time on Monday Night Football, though it was ultimately a tedious affair. Chicago picked up a win over their division rivals, 12–10, despite not scoring a touchdown in the game.

Josh Dobbs had an abysmal night, throwing four interceptions in the loss, which saw Minnesota lose its second consecutive game after having previously won five in a row.

Both teams were sloppy throughout, as T.J. Hockenson’s late grab in the fourth quarter was the lone touchdown of the evening.

Justin Fields, who fumbled twice and rarely threw the ball more than a few yards downfield, did manage to lead the Bears’ game-winning drive, which was highlighted by a 36-yard pass to D.J. Moore. That set up Cairo Santos’s fourth field goal of the night.

NFL fans on social media weren’t too pleased with the standalone game, and they had plenty to say about the lack of quality to finish off Week 12.
