Josh Dobbs threw four interceptions as he struggled during the Vikings’ 12–10 loss to the Bears on Monday Night Football.

After the game, head coach Kevin O’Connell was asked if he was considering a quarterback change with Minnesota’s bye week looming. In response, O’Connell did not commit to Dobbs as the Vikings’ starter, saying the team plans to “take a look at everything.”

“I think what Josh Dobbs has done, coming in here on short notice and going 2–2 in a stretch where, a lot of people might have thought, ‘Kirk Cousins and Justin Jefferson being out, the deck’s stacked against us.’ That’s not the way this team thinks, that’s not the way we operate,” O’Connell said.

“We’re going to evaluate what we’ve been able to do, things we need to get better at. We’ll take a look at what that looks like... We’ll take a look at everything. We’ve got a lot of work to do during the bye.”

Monday was Dobbs’ fourth appearance and third start in a Vikings uniform after being acquired at the trade deadline in a deal with the Cardinals. He had just one interception across his first three games before throwing four on Monday.

Minnesota’s next game is slated for Dec. 10 against the Raiders. If the Vikings don’t go with Dobbs as the starter, it’ll likely be rookie quarterback Jaren Hall under center in Week 14.
