The end of the third quarter of Sunday’s Colts vs. Titans game showcased some of the most chaotic plays in all of the NFL in the early slot of games.

The Titans quickly went three-and-out and attempted to punt the ball away with 19 seconds of the third quarter left. But, Colts safety Nick Cross and tight end Mo Alie-Cox blocked the punt attempt. Then the ball was recovered by Indianapolis linebacker Grant Stuard, who ran the ball to the end zone for an 18-yard touchdown.

This quickly put the Colts on top with a 22–17 lead.

The Titans quickly responded. And by quickly, they scored just a few seconds later when Colts quarterback Gardner Minshew’s two-point conversion attempted pass was intercepted by safety Amani Hooker. He then ran the ball across the field to the end zone to score a two-point safety for the Titans.

On the Titans’ next drive, the Colts’ Tony Brown blocked Tennessee’s punt, recovered by Oluwasegun Olubi. The Colts went on to score a field goal on the next drive.
