Ravens Beat Rams With Thrilling Walk-Off Punt Return TD in Overtime
The Ravens had their hands full with the Rams coming to Baltimore in Week 14, needing a late touchdown drive from Lamar Jackson and company just to set the game up for overtime.
Trailing 28–23 with four minutes left, Jackson drove the Baltimore offense down the field for a go-ahead touchdown with just over a minute left to play. The Ravens converted the two-point try to take a 31–28 lead.
Matthew Stafford and the Rams were not able to match the Ravens touchdown drive, but were able to set up a field goal in the final 75 seconds of regulation, pushing the game into overtime.
In the extra period, Ravens wide receiver Tylan Wallace decided to end things himself. After the Baltimore defense forced the Rams to punt, Wallace fielded the kick, found the sideline, and beat every coverage man Los Angeles threw at him to score the game-winning touchdown.
Jackson and the rest of the Ravens sideline were in awe during the run.
With the win, the Ravens move to 10–3 on the season, the first team in the AFC to reach double-digit wins on the year.
