Cowboys defensive lineman DeMarcus Lawrence truly was inspired by his team’s defensive performance in a resounding 33–13 victory over the visiting the Eagles on Sunday Night Football.

After the Cowboys’ win, which ended the Eagles’ streak of 94 consecutive games with an offensive touchdown, Lawrence was rightfully excited and shared some spicy comments about his team shutting down its NFC East rival during a SportsCenter segment on Monday with ESPN’s Ed Werder.

Here’s Lawrence comment (warning: vulgar language):

“Hit a m-----f----- in the face over and over and over and over again until they quit,” Lawrence said. “And when they quit, hit ’em again and again and again and again.”

The network failed to censor the inappropriate language, resulting in SportsCenter anchor Ryan Smith’s delivery of a swift apology for the “unintentional mistake.”

“Wanna quickly apologize for some sound we aired a couple moments ago from that Cowboys piece,” Smith said. “Some foul language was used. So, I just want to say, apologies for that on our behalf. Unintentional mistake there.”
