Randall Cobb, who has 54 career NFL touchdowns, scored his first touchdown with the Jets in the club's Week 14 win over the Texans.

The veteran wideout, who has only been active for seven games this season, made the most of his rare opportunity on Sunday.

Cobb, who scored a 15-yard touchdown in his lone target, admitted that he actually never should have been on the field for the score, per ESPN's Rich Cimini. The Jets beat reporter posted on X that the play was called for Garrett Wilson, but New York's leading wideout subbed out for a rest.

The 13-year veteran, who was expected to man the slot for the Jets this season, has found it difficult to make an impact without Aaron Rodgers under center.

Cobb has hauled in only four receptions for 35 yards on just eight targets in his first season with Gang Green.

The 33-year-old wideout will try and help Zach Wilson and the Jets upset AFC East power Miami when they head to Hard Rock Stadium in Week 15 as 10.5-point road underdogs.
