Raiders’ One-Handed Pick-Six Left Owner Mark Davis Awestruck

There are highlight-worthy football plays, and then there are flat out ridiculous football plays.

Raiders cornerback Jack Jones put his stamp on one of the best plays of the entire 2023 NFL season during Las Vegas’s 63–21 rout of the Chargers on Thursday Night Football.

On a second-and-13 from the Chargers’ 22-yard line, quarterback Easton Stick tried to sneak a screen pass to running back Austin Ekeler. Jones stepped in, however, and somehow snatched the football out of thin air with one hand and ran it back to the end zone for six points.

“Oh, baby,” play-by-play announcer Al Michaels said on the Amazon Prime Video broadcast. “Unbelievable."

Raiders owner Mark Davis, watching from his suite, couldn’t believe that Jones made the play that put his team up 62–7.
