Jaguars’ Trevor Lawrence in Concussion Protocol Following Loss to Ravens

The star quarterback now faces questions regarding his heath despite playing the entirety of Sunday’s game.

A rough night for Jaguars star Trevor Lawrence ended with a concerning update on the quarterback’s health from coach Doug Pederson following Sunday’s 23–7 loss to the Ravens.

Pederson announced Lawrence will enter the concussion protocol after being evaluated post-game, casting doubt on his status for Week 16.

The Jags coach also noted the team believes Lawrence’s possible head injury may have occurred in the fourth quarter, though it’s worth noting the QB did not miss a single snap against Baltimore.

With Lawrence’s availability now in question, it remains to be seen if the signal-caller will have a chance to suit up and bounce back from Sunday’s disappointing outing.

Against Baltimore’s stout defense, Lawrence struggled to build momentum, going 25-of-43 for 264 yards and a touchdown, while losing two fumbles and taking five hits (one sack).
