The Bengals’ injury woes continue to pile up, as star wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase is reportedly expected to miss time due to a separated shoulder.

After undergoing an MRI on the injured shoulder, Cincinnati expects Chase to be sidelined for Week 16 against the Steelers, and potentially longer, Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reports.

Chase suffered the shoulder injury during Saturday’s overtime win against the Vikings. He went down in the fourth quarter and was unable to return to the game.

Coach Zac Taylor said Chase was considered day-to-day after the game on Saturday, but the report indicates he’s not expected to be available for at least one week.

Chase led all Bengals receivers with 64 yards against Minnesota, catching four passes on just four targets. He’s been targeted only four times in each of Cincinnati’s last two games, as Jake Browning has been spreading the ball around since taking over for the injured Joe Burrow.

On Saturday, 12 different receivers were targeted, 11 of which recorded at least one reception.

If Chase can’t play against Pittsburgh, his next chance to play will come in Week 17 against the Chiefs. The Bengals, who are in the middle of a packed playoff race in the AFC, close out the regular season on Jan. 7 against the Browns
