Jason Kelce Used One Word to Describe Eagles’ Offensive Struggles During Three-Game Skid
Less than two days removed from a disappointing loss to the Seahawks on Monday Night Football, Eagles All-Pro center Jason Kelce summed up the offense’s struggles with one word.
“Inconsistent,” Kelce said during a Wednesday morning appearance on the WIP Morning Show. “We do some things really well at times and then we have either penalties or turnovers or whatever is really stalling us out.”
Monday night’s game marked Philadelphia’s third loss in a row, and the third straight time the offense failed to eclipse 20 points. It’s a concerning problem for a Super Bowl contender that is considered to have one of the NFL’s best offensive lines surrounded by star skill position players.
Nonetheless, the Eagles (10–4) find themselves in a critical part of the year and will need to rebound this weekend against the Giants (5–9) if they want to finish as the NFC’s No. 1 playoff seed.
Kickoff at Lincoln Financial Field is scheduled for Monday at 4:30 p.m. ET on Fox.
