Rams Hop Aboard Dodgers Bandwagon After Shohei Ohtani, Yoshinobu Yamamoto Signings

The Los Angeles Rams clearly are all in on the two newest Los Angeles Dodgers stars.

The Los Angeles Rams are joining in on the excitement surrounding Los Angeles Dodgers baseball this offseason amid the franchise’s signing of Shohei Ohtani and reported agreement with Japanese pitching star Yoshinobu Yamamoto.

The Rams hosted Ohtani on Thursday night for the team’s 30-22 victory over the New Orleans Saints and gifted the best player in baseball a jersey with his name on the back.

Ohtani also made an appearance after the game in the Rams locker room, where he met quarterback Matthew Stafford and coach Sean McVay, who were both very excited to greet the MLB star.

Late on Thursday night, news broke that the Dodgers were in agreement with Yamamoto on a 12-year, $325 million contract. The Rams were certainly prepared, as the team’s social media account dropped a video featuring a jersey with Yamamoto’s name on the back.

The Dodgers will enter the 2024 MLB season as the odds-on World Series favorite with Ohtani and Yamamoto in tow, and the Rams are ready to support Los Angeles’s most prominent baseball franchise every step of the way.
