Browns’ Joe Flacco Enjoys Epic Career Renaissance, and NFL Fans Are Totally Fired Up
Cleveland Browns quarterback Joe Flacco is continuing to impress the NFL world at age 38.
The Super Bowl XLVII MVP made NFL fans believe they were watching the old Flacco on Sunday as the Browns faced the Houston Texans. In the first quarter, Flacco connected with wide receiver Amari Cooper for a 75-yard touchdown.
Then, in the second quarter, Flacco threw a 21-yard dime to tight end David Njoku, followed by a successful two-point conversion, to put the Browns ahead 22–7. All this comes on the heels of last week’s 374-yard performance in a win over the Chicago Bears.
It’s difficult for fans to believe that Flacco was sitting on his couch as a free agent a couple months ago before the Browns called on him to try out. Now Cleveland is in the thick of the AFC playoff race with Flacco.
Social media was abuzz with comments about Flacco’s career renaissance on Sunday, including praise from Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James.
Here are some of the best reactions.
