Raiders DT Was So Excited About Winning Nickelodeon Trophy, and NFL Fans Loved It

Now that is a prized possession.

When listing the most important pieces of hardware in football, the Vince Lombardi Trophy and the Heisman Trophy come to mind.

But for Las Vegas Raiders defensive tackle Bilal Nichols, the NVP—Nickelodeon’s trophy given to the most valuable player of a game—stands second to none.

The Nickelodeon broadcast crew awarded Nichols the trophy after he scored a defensive touchdown in the Raiders’ 20–14 win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday at Arrowhead Stadium.

“This trophy, this is going up somewhere nice,” Nichols said with a smile. “This is probably the best trophy I’ve ever got so far.”

Nichols was also handed a jar of famous Nickelodeon slime as part of the “NFL Nickmas” broadcast. And yes, he has plans for that too.

“I’m going to slime my girlfriend and my daughter,” Nichols said. “As soon as I get home, they’re getting slimed.”
