Mics Caught Patrick Mahomes Sharing Classy Moment With Tua Tagovailoa After Chiefs Beat Dolphins
The Kansas City Chiefs knocked off the Miami Dolphins, 26–7, in a frigid cold environment inside of Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday night to advance to the AFC divisional round of the playoffs.
As the teams met at midfield after the game, microphones caught Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes congratulating Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa on a great season.
“Hey, hell of a season, dog,” Mahomes said to Tagovailoa as he shook his hand.
The two continued their friendly exchange, and it was clear that there was plenty of mutual respect between the quarterbacks.

It was apparent on Saturday night which team was more comfortable playing in the freezing cold weather. Mahomes completed 23 of his 41 pass attempts for 262 yards and a touchdown. Tagovailoa, on the other hand, struggled for most of the night, completing just 20 of his 39 throws for 199 yards with one touchdown and one interception.
The Dolphins couldn’t get much going on the ground either, amassing just 76 rushing yards on 18 attempts. The Chiefs, on the other hand, rushed for 147 yards as they ground the Dolphins defense down.
In the end, Kansas City moved another step closer to defending its Super Bowl title.
