Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn is set to interview with four other teams with head coaching vacancies this week, a source told Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer. Quinn will interview with the Carolina Panthers and Tennessee Titans on Wednesday followed by the Washington Commanders on Thursday and the Los Angeles Chargers on Friday. All four of the interviews will be conducted over Zoom.

The news comes less than a day after the Cowboys’ embarrassing playoff performance against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, when they lost 48–32 in the wild-card round. Quinn’s defense gave up 510 yards at home against the No. 7-seeded Packers, which led to criticism of Quinn and head coach Mike McCarthy.

Before joining Dallas in 2021, Quinn coached the Atlanta Falcons for five-plus seasons. During his tenure there, he compiled a 43–42 record.

Quinn was named the AP Assistant Coach of the Year last season and interviewed with several franchises before announcing his return to Dallas. It remains to be seen whether he’ll stay this time around.

Prior to Quinn’s tenure in Atlanta, he served as defensive coordinator of the Seattle Seahawks, helping that team to a Super Bowl victory to cap the 2013 season.
