Luke Musgrave stayed on his feet—against all odds, his Green Bay Packers teammates might jokingly add.

When Musgrave was left wide open in the third quarter of Sunday’s wild-card playoff game against the Dallas Cowboys, the rookie tight end caught Jordan Love’s 38-yard pass and ran in for the easy touchdown. Most importantly, he didn’t fall. He stayed on his feet.

The Packers took note of that fact, trolling Musgrave’s touchdown catch in the most hysterical way. After the 48–32 victory over Dallas, Musgrave, who has been known to stumble on occasion near the end zone, was lauded by coach Matt LaFleur with one simple but savage line: “Musgrave stayed on his feet!”

The Packers locker room roared in delight.

Musgrave had 17.2 yards of separation on his touchdown catch-and-run against the Cowboys, the sixth-most on a touchdown pass since 2016, according to NextGen Stats. He finished the game with three catches for 52 yards and a touchdown.

Cowboys fans bemoaned their team’s defensive lapse which allowed Musgrave to score so easily, giving the Packers a 41–16 lead. The Packers, on the other hand, showered the 23-year-old with plenty of praise—as well as a healthy amount of roasting.

Green Bay will play the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC divisional round at 8:15 p.m. on Saturday.
