Eagles’ Jason Kelce May Have Played His Last Game and NFL Fans Paid Tribute
The Philadelphia Eagles were bounced from the playoffs in the wild-card round on Monday night by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, in what could potentially have been legendary center Jason Kelce’s final game in the NFL.
The 36-year-old has hinted in the past that the 2023 season may be his last and with the Eagles’ campaign coming to an end on Monday, it’s possible that his outstanding career has reached its conclusion.
Kelce appeared emotional during the end of Philadelphia’s 32–9 defeat against the Buccaneers. He shared a moment with Eagles offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland along the sideline and was later seen talking to general manager Howie Roseman outside the locker room.
Kelce has been dominant in the trenches for Philadelphia for the past 13 years. He’s featured in seven Pro Bowls and was a five-time All-Pro across his distinguished career. Kelce has started every single game under center for the Eagles dating back to Week 8 of the 2014 season.
NFL and Eagles fans on social media paid tribute to Kelce after what was potentially his last game in the league, showcasing their respect for the beloved center.
