Bills Asking Fans—Again—for Help Shoveling Out Stadium Ahead of Playoff Matchup vs. Chiefs
The Buffalo Bills are asking for fans to volunteer at Highmark Stadium once again this weekend to help shovel the snow before the AFC divisional game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The team hired shovelers last Monday to help shovel multiple feet of snow before the wild-card game vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers. Once again, the team is requiring the fans to be at least 18 years old and to try and bring their own shovels. The work starts on Friday at 2 p.m. ET, two whole days before the game.
The shovelers will earn $20 an hour and will have access to a warm break area.
The snowstorm that began last week hasn’t stopped much since Monday evening’s Bills game. A few more feet of snow has compiled throughout this week, reaching around five-to-six feet in certain areas in New York, according to WIVB4.
Fans at Monday’s game sat in piles of snow in the stands as the shovelers were instructed to focus on the walkways first. Sunday night might look like another winter wonderland at Highmark Stadium.
