Mike Vrabel is meeting with the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday to interview for their vacant head coaching position, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported. Vrabel is also garnering interest from the Atlanta Falcons and Seattle Seahawks for their head coach vacancies, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Vrabel is coming off six seasons as the coach of the Tennessee Titans, where he went 54–45 overall. The Titans had winning records in each of Vrabel’s first four seasons, which includes an AFC championship game appearance in 2020 and two division titles. However, Tennessee went just 13–21 over the last two seasons, leading to Vrabel’s firing.

The Chargers seem to be big-name hunting in their search to replace Brandon Staley, having interviewed former NFL head coaches Jim Harbaugh and Leslie Frazier and former college head coach David Shaw previously. Los Angeles also needs to fill their open general manager position simultaneously.

Atlanta and Seattle are also looking into veteran coaches, albeit different names. The Falcons have already interviewed Bill Belichick for their open position, while the Seahawks have been linked to former Falcons coach (and current Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator) Dan Quinn. Quinn served as the team’s DC from 2013 to ’14.
