The Buffalo Bills had a chance to pull even with the Kansas City Chiefs with under two minutes remaining in their AFC divisional round playoff game on Sunday, but then disaster struck. Bills kicker Tyler Bass had his 44-yard field goal attempt sail wide right, and Kansas City left town with a 27-24 win. 

Bills fans know all about big field goal attempts missing wide right in postseason games. Scott Norwood, of course, missed a 47-yarder wide right in Super Bowl XXV that would have given the Bills the win. 

Jim Nantz was quick to bring that up after Bass’s missed kick and it was a very savage, yet perfect, call by the legendary announcer:
