The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback clearly remembered what the Buffalo Bills offensive tackle said leading up to their divisional playoff game.

Patrick Mahomes led the Kansas City Chiefs to a thrilling 27-24, win over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday night, and then shortly after the game he had some fun taking a shot at a Bills player who might have talked a little too much trash before the game.

Bills offensive tackle Dion Dawkins had talked earlier in the week about how Mahomes had never played a game with a crowd at Buffalo’s Highmark Stadium.

“Pat has never been to the Bills stadium in full,” Dawkins said. “The environment will be different, and not to say it’s in our favor, but stadium is our favor. Stadium is us. That helps us. I don’t care what nobody says. This is the most dopest feeling I’ve ever had. We’re having two back to back playoff games home. Come on now, like we get to leave and go eat wings. It’s cool. So good luck.”

That “good luck” part is what stuck with Mahomes, as he posted this on Instagram after the win:

Well played.
