Arthur Smith was fired by the Atlanta Falcons after three seasons as head coach, but his time in the NFL might not be over yet.

The Athletic’s Dianna Russini reported on Thursday that Smith has apparently heard from more than seven teams about taking a job as an offensive coordinator. The teams interested in Smith were not named yet, but it seems like Smith will have a role next season.

Some teams that have offensive coordinator openings include the Chicago BearsNew England PatriotsCleveland Browns and New Orleans Saints, to name a few options. More positions will likely open as some of the current offensive coordinators in the league are top candidates for head coaching roles.

Smith worked as the Tennessee Titans’ offensive coordinator for two seasons before taking over in Atlanta, so it wouldn’t be his first experience in this role.

The 41-year-old finished his Falcons tenure with a 21–30 overall record.
