With 12:49 left in the Buffalo Bills' 27-24 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in an AFC divisional round game Sunday, the former thought they had the latter fooled.

Facing fourth-and-five at their own 30-yard line, the Bills snapped the ball directly to safety Damar Hamlin. After picking up two yards, Hamlin was buried by Chiefs linebackers Leo Chenal and Cole Christiansen for a turnover on downs.

Adding insult to injury for Buffalo fans still smarting from kicker Tyler Bass's 44-yard missed field goal in the closing minutes, NFL Films footage posted on social media Tuesday afternoon depicted Kansas City linebacker Nick Bolton successfully calling the Bills' bluff.

"Watch the fake! Watch the fake!" Bolton screamed as the Chiefs' specialists ran onto the field.

He watched as his suspicions were proven correct, celebrating as Kansas City took over deep in Buffalo territory.

Facing tricky Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh, the Chiefs will need all the counterintelligence they can get in Sunday's AFC championship.
