Former Pro Bowl offensive lineman Shaun O’Hara’s take on Josh Allen raised plenty of eyebrows after the Buffalo Bills’ loss to the Kansas City Chiefs over the weekend.

O’Hara, now an analyst on NFL Network, ranked Allen over Patrick Mahomes among quarterbacks in the divisional dound. And even after Allen lost to Mahomes on Sunday for the third time in the playoffs, O’Hara wasn’t backing down from the take, saying he still believes Allen is the better quarterback while Mahomes has the better team around him.

“Those rankings right there, you could change them week to week if you want, but still, regardless of the outcome I’m taking Josh Allen every time,” O’Hara said. “I think Mahomes has the better team, but pure quarterback play, I think Josh Allen is [better].”

The rest of the set was incredulous, but O’Hara was steadfast in his take despite that.

O’Hara also criticized Buffalo receiver Stefon Diggs, who couldn’t quite reel in what could have been a game-changing catch during Buffalo’s final drive.

“He threw a 70-yard bomb to Stefon Diggs who should’ve caught the ball,” O’Hara said. “You get paid to catch the ball.”

Fans seemed just as flabbergasted as O’Hara’s colleagues.
