The Green Bay Packers and quarterback Jordan Love put up a good fight against the San Francisco 49ers in the divisional round of the playoffs, and 49ers linebacker Fred Warner wanted to let the first-year starter know that.

After the game, which the 49ers won 24–21 in a comeback effort, Warner and Love approached each other on the field and shared a moment of respect.

“So much respect, bro,” Warner told Love. “Proud of you, for real. Keep going, boy.”

Love responded similar sentiments, but added the motivation for Warner and the 49ers to “go win it, man.”

The two NFL stars have a lot in common despite this being their first meeting with Love starting. Warner is from San Marcos, Cali., while Love is from Bakersfield, Cali. The two also both attended college in Utah, with Warner going to BYU and Love going to Utah State.

The 49ers will face the Detroit Lions on Sunday night in the NFC championship for a chance to go to Super Bowl LVIII.
