Lamar Jackson Has Message for Ravens Fans After AFC Championship Loss to Chiefs
The Baltimore Ravens’ season came to an end on Sunday when they were defeated by the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship.
Despite ending the season with the NFL’s best record, the Ravens saw their Super Bowl aspirations thwarted against Patrick Mahomes and company.
After the game, Lamar Jackson told reporters that he and the team weren’t frustrated, though he admitted they were angry to lose. Instead of dwelling too much on the game, Jackson indicated that he’s optimistic the team will bounce back next season, having built an incredible foundation.
He mimicked those thoughts on social media, too. Following Sunday’s loss, Jackson took to X with some words of inspiration for Ravens fans.
Jackson took some time to commend the team for its vast improvement over the past few seasons. After an 8-9 finish just two years ago, Baltimore won a league-best 13 games in 2023 before getting upended by the reigning champion Chiefs. And they figure to be a contender for years to come, given the talent on the roster.
Jackson, through the use of some hashtags, vowed that the Ravens would be back and better in 2024, before thanking fans for their support throughout the year.
