Patrick Mahomes Joked About His Dad Bod in ‘Inside the NFL’ Clip, and Fans Loved It

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback got a good chuckle out of the viral clip circulating on social media of his locker room celebration.

The Kansas City Chiefs punched a ticket to their second straight Super Bowl with a 17–10 win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, and Inside the NFL captured the locker room celebration in the wake of the victory.

The clip started with coach Andy Reid firing up the locker room.

“In case you didn’t know, we’re going to the Super Bowl, baby!” Reid exclaimed to a chorus of locker room cheers. “Hey! Yeah, that’s right. And we’re not finished. We’ve still got one more. But in the meantime, we’re enjoying this son of a gun right here!”

Cameras then cut to quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who yelled out, “Hey, great job today! Like I’ve been saying, we ain’t done yet!”

But it wasn’t the message from Mahomes that went viral. Instead, it was the fact that he was shirtless celebrating in the locker room with his teammates. Mahomes couldn’t help but crack a joke about his “dad bod” in the wake of the reactions to the clip on X.
