Charles Barkley expected the Kansas City Chiefs to lose the AFC divisional round to the Buffalo Bills, and then the AFC championship to the Baltimore Ravens.

Well, the NBA legend was wrong as the Chiefs won both games and will play in Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers.

When making his pick for the big game, Barkley decided to triple down on his take despite the Chiefs burning him the last two games.

“I have bet against Patrick Mahomes two games in a row ... but let me tell you something, I am undaunted, I’m going with the San Francisco 49ers,” Barkley said Tuesday on Inside the NFL.

Barkley went on to explain that he really wants 49ers left tackle Trent Williams to win a ring, someone he called another great player like himself who hasn't won a championship.

Barkley notably never won an NBA title in his career.
