11-Year-Old Reporter Stole Spotlight at Super Bowl Opening Night
The stars were out for Super Bowl LVIII Opening Night, with the likes of Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and George Kittle fielding questions from the media in attendance in Las Vegas. However, it was one young reporter who truly stole the show on Monday night.
Jeremiah Fennell, an 11-year-old from Las Vegas, was in attendance, conducting interviews like an old pro. Speaking to NFL Network’s Michael Robinson, he explained his story.

“I started to do this at the age of 7 years old because I wasn’t able to play sports due to some medical issues, but I still like the sports environment,” Fennell said. “So I decided to hone my craft in journalism at the age of 7. And I started my YouTube channel. And yes, I do think I can keep this as a career because I do still love the sport and I do know a lot about it, so I think that interviewing people can be a long career for me.”
With an NFL Network microphone in his hand, Fennell got to work, speaking to the biggest names at Super Bowl LVIII. He drafted historical fantasy teams with Mahomes and got some insight into the Vegas club scene from Kelce.
Fennell drew rave reviews from fans and other media professionals for his performance on Monday night.
NFL Network should ensure Fennell’s available to be in New Orleans next year after his performance on Monday.
