Receiving unwanted relationship advice from family, friends and colleagues can be grating—doubly so if you are Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, and your girlfriend is one of Earth's most famous citizens in musician Taylor Swift.

However, on Wednesday, Chiefs coach Andy Reid admirably cut through the noise and offered Kelce words of wisdom relatable to anyone with a significant other.

"You've been coaching Travis Kelce in football for a while now,” a reporter said to Reid at a media availability leading up to Super Bowl LVIII between Kansas City and the San Francisco 49ers. “But you've been married longer than you've been coaching pro football.

“Have you given him any relationship advice—and what would that advice be?"

"Just treat her like a queen," Reid replied.

Reid met his wife, Tammy, while they were students at BYU. They got married in 1981 and have five children together.

Kelce—unwed for now—has two Super Bowl rings to his name, and will look to add a third Sunday following Swift's victory last weekend in the Album of the Year category at the Grammy Awards.
