The 2024 NFL postseason is over. The Kansas City Chiefs won Super Bowl LVIII, defeating the San Francisco 49ers 22–19 in overtime, making them the only happy team entering the offseason.
Going into the next few months, there are a few key dates to know. The first is the franchise tag window, which will open Feb. 20 and close two weeks later on March 5.

Then it’s the NFL combine Feb. 29 to March 3 in Indianapolis. Ten days later, free agency officially kicks off, with the legal tampering window March 11–13 with teams allowed to actually start signing players from other organizations after 4 p.m. ET on March 13.
Finally, the 2024 NFL draft will take place in Detroit on April 25–27. After that, it’s the schedule release in May along with rookie minicamps and voluntary OTAs, with mandatory minicamps in June and then, finally, training camps in July.
