Andy Reid, Chris Jones Shared Heartwarming Moment On Field After Chiefs’ Super Bowl Win

Jones and Reid had an emotional moment on the field after the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl LVIII win in Las Vegas.
In this story:

The Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl for the second consecutive year with their 25—22 overtime victory over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday in Las Vegas, and star defensive tackle undefined soaked in the moment afterward.

But Jones wasn’t alone in basking in the glory.

The Chiefs star, in pure elation, collapsed on his back onto the Allegiant Stadium turf, where he was joined by coach Andy Reid, who put his hands on Jones’s chest and enjoyed a heartwarming moment with the five-time Pro Bowl selection.

Check out video of the moment, shared by the Chiefs’ account on X, formerly known as Twitter.

What an awesome moment.

This year’s Super Bowl win had to mean even more to Jones, who missed training camp and the season opener while holding out in pursuit of a new contract. He signed a reworked, one-year pact in September.

As such, there is a very real possibility that the was Jones’s last ride with the Chiefs, something that might have been on his mind while he shed tears during the national anthem
